One of the easiest ways for Government clients to engage Lux is by using the GSA’s Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (8(a) STARS) II vehicle. GSA 8(a) STARS II is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract through which you can make a directed award (aka “sole-source”) up to $4 million.
Lux’s contract number is GS06F0973Z.
Lux offers services in the Constellation I under Functional Areas 1 and 2:
- NAICS 541511 – Custom Computer Programming Services
- NAICS 541512 – Computer Systems Design Services
8(a) STARS II allows directed task order awards for orders under $4 million. Orders more than $4 million must be competed among the industry partners in that functional area.
8(a) STARS II offers a fixed price, time and materials, labor hour, and blended task order types to facilitate the procurement of different types of IT products and services and meeting mission requirements.
Prior to issuing orders under 8(a) STARS II, federal contracting officers are required to receive training on the use of the 8(a) STARS II contract and be granted a written delegation of procurement authority from the GSA Small Business GWAC Center.
